| Rainwater Harvesting
provides for the collection and storage of rain water and then
enables the stored water to be used for the WC/Toilets, Washing
Machine and Garden/Outside needs.Grey water as defined by the
re-use of bath and shower water, is not recommended as a water
saving option within a typical domestic scenario. The Rewatec
Rainwater Harvesting Systems provide up to 50% of the typical
household water needs thus saving on the mains water costs. The
Rainwater Harvesting Systems support the processing of rain
recovery and rain collection and then provide for the rain water
storage into the highest quality tanks. The rain water can then
be used as required for WC/Toilets, Washing Machine and Garden/Outside.Rewatec
Rainwater Harvesting Systems provide a variety of options including
submersible pumps, and also a suction pump option. This latter
McRain Plus system has a key advantage of being able to be manually
turned over to the mains water supply by an integrated switch
within the McRain Plus Control Unit. This may be particularly
relevant and advantageous in the event of a power failure. All
of the Rewatec House and Garden Rainwater Harvesting Systems
provide a Mains Water top up facility when the low level sensor
is activated from the rain water level within the tank. The
Variopress Rainwater Harvesting System refills the tank from
the mains whereas the McRain Rainwater Harvesting System switches
directly over to the mains supply through the intelligent Control
Unit. This latter process also provides a degree of energy saving.
Rewatec as a company are constantly designing new products
or improved design features all based on their successful and
well established experience in the Rainwater Harvesting market
place. Their re-known innovation capability is demonstrated
by the recent launch of the flattest Rainwater Harvesting storage
tank, which will be of interest and benefit in situations where
there are site access problems, high water table or where there
is a problem within the sub-soil structure. The launch
of the highly efficient iglu 900l soak-away product for the
Rain Harvesting Systems is yet another first for this expanding
and forward looking company. This product has a very high water
dispersion rate and compares very favourably with alternative
soak-away solutions

These
off-mains SBR Sewage Treatment Systems offer the latest
Technology for Sewage Treatment with the much warranted
European EN12566-3 Certification. This is set to maintain
the effluent outflow standards at a very high quality level
of emissions set at suspended solids < 30mg/l, BOD Biological
Oxygen Demand < 20 mg/l ans Ammonia < 10 mg/l, on a continuous
basis.
The
Rewatec SBR system uses the Sequence Batch Reactor processing
method, similar in concept to all the major water companies
in their large treatment facilities. This means that each day
a pre-programmed batch process takes place, which ensures the
full processing of incoming sewage to the desired standards.
The
design of this SBR system is centred round an energy efficient
floating MONOfluido system consisting of two pumps and an aerator. Because
there are no moving parts and also because there are no solids
in the processing chamber there is no possibility of malfunction
as in differently designed systems. The lowest energy comparable
running costs (approximately £30 p/a for a 4-6 PE system), are
a very attractive design feature of the system. There is also
the clever inbuilt design feature and owner convenience factor
of providing an integrated fresh sampling bottle of effluent
outflow during each batch process. Low maintenance/servicing
costs are another attraction of this SBR system solution, aided
by the easy access to the FLUIDO unit. When considering
the installation this is relatively simple as after the basic
connections there is only the programming of the control unit
and sample batch test. With an additional clever holiday mode
feature to automatically regulate the program the total running
costs of this solution are minimal when compared with a variety
of alternative solutions. SEPTIC TANK UPGRADE Where
a current Septic Tank installation has problems the Rewatec
SBR System offers a unique upgrade solution. This cost effective
and well designed concept will enable the Septic Tank to be
fully upgraded. This is achieved by using the existing Septic
Tank as the receiving chamber and then the second Rewatec tank
will contain the MONOfluido system as in the conventional SBR
System design. The big advantage is that there will be no need
to notify the Environment Agency as there would if updating
the Septic Tank itself. The upgrade is also a very cost effective
way to achieve a fully operating Sewage Treatment System, which
will be totally compliant with the new European Certification
standards. |
