Jeremy Fox from Croydon installed our F-Line 1500 litre tank
Whilst landscaping his property, Jeremy decided it was a prime time to install a rainwater system to water his garden. This adds a feature to his house and saves him money as well as helping the environment.
Mr Fox specifically wanted to keep disruption to a minimum, the F-line tank was ideal for his installation. He had restricted access to the rear of his property, so with the benefit of the low installation depth, the volume of excavated earth was kept to a minimum. Mr Fox didn't even need to hire a digger, he dug the hole by hand!
No Concrete needed to be brought in for the base or backfill which made this installation extremely easy and much less costly than a traditional round tank.
"Rewatec were very helpful during the planning of the installation or my rainwater tank. I choose the 1500 litre tank and was able to carry it down the side of my property. The installation was a breeze even for me! I now have rainwater to use on my plants, the pressure of the pump is better than mains too!"

A National House Builder uses REWATEC flat tank
National House builder has recently chosen to use the F-line tank on all its developments where it is required to either reduce internal water consumption or aid service water runoff.
Each plot has an F-line 3000 litre diver system delivering filtered, clean rainwater into the property to flush the toilets and water the garden.
The builder has saved a lot of time and money by using the F-line tank over a traditional round tank. Not only does a round tank mean digging very deep holes (not easy on a tight site), but the excavated earth is reduced by 50%, plus more tanks can be stored onsite at once making the installation much easier to fit in with their timescales. The concrete saving alone was over £4000 for this site and that is without the manpower costs added!
On top of the normal benefits of rainwater harvesting, which add a selling feature to the property, overcome drainage difficulties, and give the end user lower water bills, the users will also have a safer tank in the garden. The child proof lock does not wear out, and the cover is discreet while remaining functional from an access point of view.
